In Anbu College Of Nursing , we believe that research is the cornerstone of evidence-based nursing practice. Our college fosters a vibrant research culture, encouraging students and faculty to engage in innovative studies that advance healthcare knowledge and improve patient care.

Purpose
The Research Policy aims to promote a research culture among faculty and students, ensure ethical research practices and support evidence-based nursing education and practice.

Scope
This policy applies to: Faculty member Undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students Research scholars and collaborators of the college.

Objectives
Encourage quality research and innovation Promote ethical and responsible research practices Support student research activities Facilitate publication and dissemination of research outcomes

Research Committee
The college shall have a Research Committee headed by the Principal to: Review and approve research proposals Guide and monitor research activities Encourage faculty and student participation in research Maintain research records and reports

Ethical Guidelines
All research involving human participants must obtain approval from the Institutional Ethics Committee (IEC) Informed consent of participants are mandatory Confidentiality and privacy of data must be maintained Plagiarism and unethical research practices are strictly prohibited

Student Research
Research is a mandatory component of nursing programs Students shall conduct research under faculty supervision Approved guidelines and timelines must be followed Ethical clearance is required before data collection

Research Support
The institution shall provide necessary facilities such as library resources, internet access, and research guidance Faculty and students are encouraged to apply for internal and external research funding

Publication and Dissemination
Faculty and students are encouraged to publish in peer-reviewed journals Research outcomes shall be presented in conferences, seminars and workshops The institution shall be acknowledged in all publications

Collaboration
The college encourages collaborative research with hospitals, universities, and research organizations All collaborations shall follow institutional and ethical guidelines

Monitoring and Review
Research activities shall be reviewed annually The policy will be reviewed periodically to ensure quality and compliance with accreditation standards

Compliance
Non-compliance with this policy will be addressed to the principal as per institutional rules.
